Characteristics
The SCH16T series offers industry-leading performance and safety in a single-package 6DoF MEMS IMU, specifically designed for demanding industrial environments. The series comprises three models:
SCH16T-K01 - Multi-functional, High-performance, General-purpose IMU
SCH16T-K10 - a model with extended detection range for gyroscopes, suitable for high-speed rotation measurements
SCH16T-K20 - a new product, characterized by significantly improved performance of gyroscopes and accelerometers.
The SCH16T series utilizes a market-leading stable MEMS platform and is equipped with cutting-edge MEMS gyroscopes. The wide measurement range accelerometers in SCH16T-K01 and SCH16T-K10 provide automotive-grade verified performance even in harsh environments.
Compared to the K01 and K10 models, the new accelerometer MEMS in SCH16T-K20 reduces temperature bias drift and cuts noise density in half.
The new MEMS sensor is based on the dual differential measurement principle adopted by the existing SCA3400 and the older SCA103T series sensors. In addition, the K20 gyroscope calibration has been fine-tuned, resulting in a smaller temperature bias drift compared to other product versions.
The SCH16T platform has undergone rigorous verification through a test suite based on AEC-Q100 operating temperature grade 1 (−40°C to +125°C), ensuring stable operation across a wide temperature range.
All SCH16T series sensors boast a market-leading self-diagnostic function, making them ideal for safety-critical applications. Furthermore, the software and pins of this series of sensors are compatible with each other, facilitating easy switching between sensors within the same product line and saving costs.
