Brand: ST (STMicroelectronics). AEC‑Q100 automotive fully‑integrated H‑Bridge brushed DC motor driver built on VIPower® M0‑7 power technology. SO‑16N tape‑and‑reel package (TR = Tape & Reel). Single‑chip solution for driving one high‑power brushed DC motor.

It integrates two high‑side MOSFETs and two low‑side MOSFETs to form a complete H‑bridge. Power transistors, drive logic, comprehensive protection and diagnostic circuits are all integrated inside one chip. The inputs are 3.3 V‑MCU logic compatible and support PWM speed regulation. It provides current‑sense feedback and extensive fault diagnostics for harsh automotive‑electronic environments. Few external components are required, simplifying motor‑drive PCB design.

## Main Functions

1. H‑Bridge drive: control **brushed DC motor forward rotation, reverse rotation, braking and stop**.

2. PWM speed control: motor speed adjustable via 0‑20 kHz PWM signal.

3. Current‑sensing via CS pin: outputs analog signal proportional to motor current. MCU reads current value for stall‑detection and closed‑loop current control.

4. Full‑set hardware protection: automatic protection against thermal overload, overcurrent, short‑circuit and undervoltage to prevent chip damage.

5. Fault‑diagnosis output: reports short‑circuit, open‑load and thermal‑fault conditions to host controller.

6. Usable in half‑bridge mode to drive two separate loads.
