V. Shortcomings and selection notes
Only accelerometer, no gyroscope; The angular velocity detection needs to be paired with the LSM6DS series six-axis device.
Consumer grade, not suitable for automotive electronics, no AEC‑ Q100 certification
LGA‑ 12 is a pinless package, which has high requirements for soldering on PCB pads and steel mesh. Poor soldering will directly lead to abnormal performance.
The output rate is limited in low power mode, and high-speed sampling requires switching to high-performance mode, which will increase power consumption.
There is an inherent error in the zero g offset, and software calibration compensation is needed for high-precision tilt scenarios.
