Rationale for Asymmetric Positive & Negative Output Voltages+15V: Supplies forward drive current to rapidly turn on IGBTs/MOSFETs.-8.7V: Applies negative bias during turn-off to firmly latch power devices. It avoids false turn-on induced by high-voltage interference and dv/dt spikes, significantly reducing the risk of device breakdown, lowering EMI interference and improving overall system efficiency.
