Main functions
Synchronous Buck converter: It steps down high voltage input to low voltage output. Compared to asynchronous diode solutions, the synchronous architecture offers higher conversion efficiency and lower heat generation.
Fast transient response: Small voltage fluctuation during sudden load changes, suitable for loads sensitive to power supply ripple, such as MCUs and sensors (e.g., power supply for STM32H7 and IMU sensors).
Programmable soft start: Controls the gradual increase of output voltage during power-on, suppresses the inrush current upon power-on, and protects the backend chips.
Low dropout LDO mode: When the input voltage approaches the output voltage, it automatically enters low dropout operation to ensure stable voltage regulation.
