The ICM-20948 is an ultra-low-power 9-axis motion tracking Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) from TDK InvenSense. It integrates a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer, with an auxiliary I2C interface for external connection to the AK09916 3-axis magnetometer to form a complete 9DOF 9-axis sensor. Equipped with an on-chip hardware DMP (Digital Motion Processor) that executes attitude algorithm computation internally, it serves as an upgraded drop-in replacement for the classic MPU-9250.
