The Murata SCA3400 high-performance three-axis (XYZ) accelerometer combines robustness, low noise density, excellent linearity, and high offset stability over temperature and time. The SCA3400-D01 accelerometer is specifically designed for industrial applications that require stability and accuracy in harsh environments. During the life cycle of these modules, the offset drift for the X and Y axes is 0.5 mg, and for the Z axis, it is 2 mg. The offset error caused by changes in operating temperature is 2 mg for the X and Y axes and 3 mg for the Z axis. Murata's SCA3400 accelerometer demonstrates excellent performance in terms of accuracy, exhibiting a linear error of 1 mg within a range of 1.2 g and a noise density of 20 µg/√Hz. Other features include user-selectable dynamic range, low-pass filtering, self-diagnostics, and mature capacitive 3D-MEMS technology. Applications include structural health monitoring (SHM), machine control, construction tools and systems, and inertial measurement units (IMU).
