TDK-Lambda HWS3000G-48 is a single-phase, 3000W-class programmable CV/CC (Constant Voltage / Constant Current) AC-DC industrial power supply of the HWS-G series. It is widely used for high-power DC power supply in semiconductor and precision industrial equipment.
Core Functions
1. AC to DC conversion: Converts AC mains power into stable 48V DC power. Power derates to 1500W at low input voltage and delivers full 3000W output at high input voltage.
2. Full-range programmable CV/CC: Automatic switching between constant voltage and constant current modes. Voltage and current can be programmed from zero up to rated maximum value, rather than simple potentiometer trimming.
3. Dual control interfaces
- Digital: RS485 Modbus RTU for remote reading, writing, monitoring and output setting via host computer.
- Analog: 1–5V / 4–20mA signal for programming and remote sensing feedback, supporting remote on/off control.
4. Multi-unit capacity expansion: Up to 10 units in parallel for higher current, up to 3 units in series for higher voltage. Built-in current sharing / voltage balancing for multi-unit networking operation.
5. Comprehensive protections: OVP over-voltage, OCP over-current, OTP over-temperature and short-circuit protection. Equipped with output remote sense to compensate for cable voltage drop.
6. Intelligent cooling: Variable-speed fan with low speed and low noise under light load. Compliant with SEMI F47 for voltage sag immunity requirement of semiconductor equipment.
