II. Core Performance Parameters Murata Man

Gyroscope (3-axis)

Range: Configurable by software from ±1000 to ±2000 °/s, with a typical maximum tolerance of ±2600 °/s. It is the version with the largest angular velocity range in the SCH16T series

Bias instability: 2°/h

Noise density: 6 m°/s/√Hz

Low-pass filtering: configurable from 13 to 370 Hz

Accelerometer (3-axis main channel)

Range: Adjustable via software from ±1.5 g to ±16 g, with a default of ±26 g

Auxiliary acceleration redundant channel: maximum ±26 g (unique to K10/K01, not available for K20), used for high-impact overload protection Murata Man

Electrical and Interface

Power supply: VDD 3.0‑3.6 V; IO power supply 1.7‑3.6 V, compatible with 1.8V MCU

Communication: SafeSPI v2.0, with output options of 16bit / 20bit

Synchronization function: Data‑Ready, timestamp, SYNC synchronization input, multi-sensor time alignment

Self-diagnosis: >200 internal monitoring signals, reporting sensor status on SPI per frame

Operating temperature: -40℃ ~ +110℃, AEC-Q100 automotive grade certification

III. Horizontal comparison within the same series (SCH16T‑K01 / K10 / K20) Murata Man

Table

Model

Gyroscope range

SCH16T‑K01

±8 g

0.3 °/h

High precision and low rotational speed, navigation, stable platform

SCH16T‑K10

High-speed rotation, high maneuverability, drones, robots

SCH16T‑K20

0.3 °/h

Cost-optimized version, without redundant acceleration channels

K10 sacrifices some gyro bias noise in exchange for a ten-fold increase in angular velocity range, making it suitable for devices that experience high-speed tumbling and large maneuvers; for devices that prioritize high-precision slow rotation, K01 is the better choice.

IV. Main application scenarios of Murata Man

Drone flight control: aerial stunts, high-speed spinning, and large maneuverability for cross-country flights, preventing gyro output saturation

High-performance robot, mobile robot, rotating gimbal

Pose measurement of industrial high-speed moving equipment, AGV / unmanned vehicle

Vehicle-mounted attitude and motion testing equipment, industrial attitude system with high vibration

Advantages: Excellent anti-vibration rectification performance, strong mechanical robustness under high impact, and built-in redundant acceleration channels for fault detection.
