The LIS2DW12 series ultra-low power 3-axis MEMS digital accelerometer belongs to ST femto micro motion sensor family. The suffix LTR stands for LGA12 package and tape & reel packaging. It shares identical functions and electrical parameters with the widely available LIS2DW12TR in the market; the two parts only differ in silkscreen and production batch, and are fully interchangeable.

It measures X/Y/Z triaxial acceleration, vibration, tilt, free fall and tap events. Equipped with an embedded hardware motion engine, it avoids heavy computation load on the MCU. Featuring ultra-low power consumption, it is ideal for battery-powered portable devices.
